Founded with a passion for interiors, FDI Retail offers a collection of furniture that blends timeless design with modern living. Our aim has always been to offer distinctive pieces you won't typically find on the high street, helping customers create homes that feel both stylish and personal.
A Mother & Daughter Team
FDI Retail is proudly run by a mother and daughter team.
Maxine founded the business after beginning her career designing and making soft furnishings, which naturally developed into a passion for interior design. Over time this led to opening a physical interiors shop where she helped customers design and furnish their homes.
As the business evolved and online retail became increasingly important, Chanelle joined the business to help develop the online presence and bring FDI Retail to a wider audience.
Chanelle brings international sourcing experience to FDI Retail, having previously worked in fashion buying and sourcing, including several years based in China. This experience helps ensure our collections reflect current trends, quality materials and well-crafted design.
Together they combine Maxine’s interior design expertise with Chanelle’s sourcing experience to curate furniture collections that balance timeless design with modern living.
